Legacy Problem?
I've created files which I'd like to give to a client for them to use as a template-like file. I'm using Illustrator CS and my client has Illustrator 8. When I export the file, which is only text, it breaks it apart into separate letters. I tried creating a text box, but it did the same thing. Ideas?

Re: Legacy Problem?
To do this kind of exchange, I’m afraid either you’ll have to find a copy of an older version of Illustrator, or your client will have to upgrade to CS. It’s possible to select all the broken up text with a selection tool (in AI8), cut it, and paste it into a text box, but I doubt this will be very convenient for your client to use as a template.
