Letterhead
I've tried to use an image from my elements files as part of a letter head I'd like to make in Word. I can not for the life of me, get my name and address to the right side of this image. If I do then there's a text box around it that looks completely unprofessional. Has anyone run into this. To simplify, how can I make a letterhead with an image and Word on my Imac (OS10.1.5)?

Re: Letterhead
See if this will work: Create a one row, two cell table. Insert the image in the left cell and put the text in the right. (And then make sure you don't have any borders around the table!) It's not a great workaround, but Word can make doing stuff like this harder than it has to be. Do you have any other software that might be more cooperative?

Re: Letterhead
If you have Appleworks, save the image in PE as a PICT file, then paste it into a drawing document. Then enter the text as a text block or as separate text blocks of one line each. Of course, if you want to do all your word processing in word, you'll have to just make pre-printed stationery if you use AW to do it.

Re: Letterhead
Randy
In Elements > Move Tool
Drag image into an open Word Doc
With the image selected > Fomat > Picture > Layout > Tight
Drag the image wherever and type your text.
Hope this helps
