Redhat 7,2 - i686.

I hosed my system a couple of days back when I installed the wrong
rpm package. To fix this I booted with my Redhat install/recovery
CD and copied libraries from the 'good' image into /usr/lib.
Now everything seems to work except two things (that I know of):
the Abbi word processor (emacs seems okay) and lpd.

As root:

% /etc/rc.d/init.d/lpd start
Starting lpd: /usr/bin/python: error while loading shared libraries:
/lib/i686/libpthread.so.0: undefined symbol: _dl_cpuclock_offset
No Printers Defined

printer configure tool also dies.

Here's some ls output:

/lib:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 87332 Aug 4 20:56
libpthread-0.10.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 87332 Aug 4 20:56
libpthread-0.9.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Aug 5 00:32
libpthread.so.0 -> libpthread-0.10.so

/usr/lib:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1625910 Sep 4 2001 libpthread.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1630898 Sep 4 2001 libpthread_p.a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Jan 24 2002 libpthread.so
-> ../../lib/libpthread.so.0

Any ideas?
