    Default Licensing Compliance

As Adobe is a charter member of the BSA Nazi Gestapo I would expect you to make licensing compliance as easy as possible.

To that end could you please distinguish between Adobe Reader free version and Adobe Reader Full version in the registry keys?

As you should know, the only way to keep track of of software installed on a network is to have software that audits installations. Adobe makes no distinction between the free version and full version. That means that after every audit I have to manually look for the full version. Then manually update my audit. Then hope that I caught them all before the BSA kicks in my door.

I should not be required to do this. As Adobe is only happy and anxious to fine every company on earth via the BSA, you should be working with companies that provide auditing software to make this process as simple as possible.

This is a user to user forum. You should contact Adobe.

Adobe Reader free version and Adobe Reader Full version

I wasn't aware there were two different versions of Reader either. I know there is Reader and Acrobat but I didn't realise there were two different versions of Reader - what extra do you get in the paid for version?

Are you trying to talk to Adobe, or would you be interested in the
opinions and ramblings of users too? If it's the former, wrong place.
