Gossen have an expensive model that is digital diplay and has also a very wide exposure range. I notice on e-Bay someone has listed a 308B for $150 USD which is a bargain at the current exchange rate....

Something as versatile as a Sekonic 308 B or something up-market that is
very sensitive to low light. Gossen have an expensive model that is digital
diplay and has also a very wide exposure range.

Moonlight is quite deceptive. If the moon itself is in the frame then the
contrast ratio is usually greater than the film or CCD will allow to expose
    both well.

Has anyone tried using a grad filter in such a scene ?
