Default Like Version 8 but minor issues so far

I like version 8 but here are some minor issues.

    1. Documents open in the center of my monitor instead of the upper left. Is there a preference to change this behavior?

    2. When adding text to an existing PDF via Option + Touch UpText Tool, I cannot move the text with Select Object Tool.

    Any ideas. Thanks in advance.

I thought Acrobat 8 was only available for Windows users?

    Also for those unaware.

8 does not worrk on OSX.3.9 and lower. In fact the minimum is X.4.3

    1) I don't believe so, no.

    2) Use the Object Touchup Tool to move your text (or any other text on the page, for that matter!)

Leonard, thank you kindly. Works fine...just have to get used to the icons, etc.

As for documents opening in the center of the screen instead of the upper left, why would Adobe make this change?

Acrobat 8 only for Windows? Not a chance. You gotta be kidding me.

I'm on 10.4.8 and use both PPC and some Intel Macs at this point.

Acrobat 8 Standard is only for Windows users. Acrobat 8 Professional
    is for both.

Thanks for the clarification. Acrobat Pro is huge on the Mac, especially in the graphics world.

Not just in the Graphics and print world, great for the web as well. And for designing and creating forms.

Acrobat 8 is amazing on the Intel Mac. Instead of the half a minute or more it took for Acrobat 7 to open this version opens instantly. I can double click on a doc and Acrobat 8 opens, and opens the doc in less than a couple of seconds.
