Limit on Bitmap position
I am designing a flash site similar to the one on proofphoto.com. I have created "filmstrips" with multiple images placed side by side in photoshop. These images will move from right to left across the screen under a mask.
Here is the problem. I place the "filmstrip" bitmap in keyframe 1 and then copy that keyframe to frame 300. In frame 300 I move the bitmap to the location on the background that I desire. When I test the movie no image appears. Here is the freaky thing- I can move the bitmap to the right slightly and then the image appears when I test the movie. This happens around x-coordinate -1650 (negative 1650) of the bitmap position. This happens even when I am not motion tweening between the two keyframes.
I have successfully created several flash movies using this technique but this "filmstrip" bitmap is longer than some of the others. Are there position coordinate limits to bitmap locations? My background is 400x600 pixels.
This really blows my mind!!!
