Limited Style dropdown

I have noticed that contribute only shows certain classes in the styles
dropdown box, I think to limit the ability to resize or color text. So I have
2 questions.
1) How do I enable a user to resize/color text
2) If I have one specific class I want to show up in the style dropdown, what
do i need to do?

The class I want to show up only contains text size and color attributes.
