    Default Limited the number of decimal places returned?

    I've moved on from functions for the time being, and was playing with do
    some maths and date/time manipulation.

    Lets say I wanted to show the number of days that have past from Unix
    timezero, 1970 whatever it is.

    I could show this with

    $timestamp = mktime(0,0,0);
    $indays = $timestamp / 24*60*60;

    Echo $indays;

    Hoever that gives me loads of long decimals, which look silly.

    But how do I limit the number of decimal points returned by a calculation.
    Better still, how do Iround up or down to the nearest whole number?

    I do try to read the manual, but I'm afraid a lot of the time I either can't
    find what I want, or the code examples given simply confuse me further.

    You better get used to the manual and stop overseeing the obvious:

    That has to be the fastest reply I've ever had.

    And thank you. Note to brain, if you want to round some numbers, someone may
    have named the function round....
