limits requirements
hey ppl i have a question for ya
what is the minimum requirements for a modell to run smooth in director ?
i have a model with 80.000 pollugons but it still kinda slow on moast puters ..
normaly 80.000 pollygons aint that mutch .. now i wonder if its the pollys
that
slows it down or is it somthing else ?

50.000 polygons should be enough (but 10 - 20.000 is better to get "smooth
movement") on entry-level machines.
Also pay attention to textures: the number of textures, the size and the
"alpha channel" may kill your project as well.
The amount of LINGO and HAVOK are another source of speed killer.
