lines missing when printed (idcs)
hi there,
im am currently designing a document that has quite alot of lines in it. it looks fine in the pdf, but when the proof has come back some of the lines appear to be thin in places, or not there at all. I have made sure that there are no picture boxes covering the lines as it was suggested to me that that could be the problem, but the problem still persists. Any suggestions?

Re: lines missing when printed (idcs)
Check to make sure that the lines aren't hairlines or 0.25 point lines. The print shop may not be able to reproduce them.
That is the case with the in-house print shop I deal with. Nothing below a 0.5 point line images well as a result of limitations in the hardware in use.
