    Default Lines per inch?

I know you can adjust vertical spacing of text by tweaking the Leading, but is there anyway to know what the LPI is for any given font or paragraph?

    Thanks,

Divide 72 by the leading for the number of lines of text per inch (if that's what you're after). LPI is usually used for a measure of the screen on a printing press.

    Default Re: Lines per inch?

I know that the computer is not a typewriter, but I'm trying to match my InDesign forms to one of my company's internal software program which determines spacing by lines per inch. To get my text to line up properly, it helps to be able to adjust the font to the right spacing.

    Dave--thanks. That helped.
