link a flash button

i have created buttons in flash8 and inserted them in the site (local site in
my hard disc)
and i want to put links on them. i tryed by puting this codes

<param name="flashvars" value="passText=submit&passURL=myPage.htm" >
flashvars="passText=submit&passURL=myPage.htm"

but it doesn't work


please help me somebody

Consider the following questions -

1. What will someone who doesn't have the Flash plugin installed do to get
to the page linked to by that button?
2. What will search engine spiders, who cannot find that link in Flash do
to get to the page referenced?
3. What will those who use screen assistive devices do when their screen
reader cannot see those links?

This is why you do not see Flash buttons on anything much other than hobby
sites.

You cannot link Flash with HTML. If you want the button to link to
something it must be done either when you create the button (i.e., embed the
link in the Flash Actionscript), or later by opening the FLA file and adding
the link.

so i have to find another way to create buttons. I'm just a junior graphic
designer i dont know much about these things.
i would appreciate any suggestions on how to create some nice buttons and put
them on my dreamwaver site.

I mean how can i make this small "animation" when you pess the button or when
you are over it etc, in Studio 8?

i created my buttons much easier in dreamweaver by editing the "behaviors"

i 'will post my other questions there
