    You can just put the following:

    on mouseUp me
    open "/text/file.doc" with "word"
    end

    Of course this is assuming they are in a folder called text, the symbol says
    start in the movie folder and you put the filename and path as stated above. I
    think just putting with word will work (if not you will have to put the whole
    file path), of course that doesn't check to see if word is installed, you might
    consider using wordpad or something other program that comes with windows
    unless you know all the users will have word installed already. This works
    with a Projector, I have not tried it as a shockwave, but I am assuming it
    would not work since it would be web based. Hope that helps.
