    are you connected to a web site? if you are just editing a page with the
    File->Open command.. then the file won't be uploaded.. the file would
    automaticaly be uploaded if you are connected to a website..

    I understand that. I am connected to the site and have gone into "Edit this
    page." I am using Serv-U for my FTP site. Could there be permission problems
    that would force Contribute to create the local file link?
