I'm encountering a rather puzzling phenomenon with Illustrator CS:

We have a file on our server that contains several copies of a linked .eps file. When anyone in our office opens the file, the linked images are right where they are supposed to be. We're all using CS, although the workstations have varied installation dates and nothing is really uniform about the installs or workstations.

We have placed the file (and the linked image file) on other drives for other network users to access and placed the files on an FTP site for users at our other branches. Whenever someone who is not on our network opens the file, the linked .eps image appears to have been scaled down and moved well away from the original, intended location. The other users are all using Illustrator CS as well.

What have we done wrong? Is there a file we users on the original network can access that other users can't? Is there anything we can do to correct this?
