Default Linked PNG doesn't show in projector

Previous posts seem to be about link problems in Shocked files. I'm having
similar issues with a standard projector on the PC. My linked PNG graphic (a
logo that my client would like to change depending on who she is presenting to)
shows up fine during authoring, but not during playback using a stub projector.
This is true whether I create a dxr file or leave the dir as is. Any
    suggestions?

(The png file is in a directory that's in the same folder as the projector and
the dxr. All of my other linked media - MPEGs, etc. - are in there, too, and
they all play back fine, so I know the projector is seeing the folder correctly
    ...)

    TIA,

    Andy

PNG may require a dedicated xtra that would normally be set by default
to be included with movie. You usually get a red placeholder rect in
the place of xtra impaired elements.

Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure which xtra it was - oddly the PNG Import
Export xtra didn't do the trick, so I copied the entire "Mix" folder of xtras
to my project folder. (Even stranger, I didn't get the "red x" rect that
usually points toward a missing xtra ...

    Thanks again,

Usually if you use anything from the Mix folder, you also need to include the 'Mix Services' xtra, so PNG Import Export & Mix Services should do the trick

Just to clarify about the MIX Services xtra, it is not an audio mixer - as the
name might suggest - it is the Macromedia Information eXchange xtra which is
needed in conjunction with some xtras:-
