    Hi

I believe this TechNote will help you create this functionality in your
    Director movie.

"How can I open a web page from Director?"

Default Re: linking a website to the design

The call goToWebPage someURL causes the user's default browser to launch
    ans access the page.

One odd thing on Macs is Director (and BuddyAPI) preference to use
Netscape by default, if no user perfrence is identified.

I found one can locate te Explorer application using BuddyAPI, setting
    the browserPath property to it.
