Linking all my pages together - Macromedia Contribute General Discussion

How do I link all my pages together with a toolbar at the top, so when on any page they can click and move to different page? Do I just click on link and list each page and go through these steps on each page? Thanks, Linda...

If I understand you right, you want a menu at the top of each page that allows
you to navigate through the website.
You best achieve this by using a Library item for the menu in Dreamweaver, or
a server side include (using PHP f.i.).

Of course you can also copy past this into every page, but updating the menu
would be a hassle if you own a large website.

    Hi,
Well actually we already have a toolbar at the top to navigate through our
website. We have 10 pages plus our contact us page. It is something the
previous web designer set up, but I have since taken it over using Contribute 3
and we do not use him anymore. I do not have Dreamweaver. So if I was to
create a new toolbar how would I link them all together to navigate through the
website to each page using Contribute or can I?
    Thanks,
    Linda

Maybe you'd better post an url to your site. Maybe it's possible to adjust that 'toolbar' to your needs.

??? Still confused. How about if I did not say use a specific toolbar and just
listed the pages on the home page and all other pages. If I were to do this,
how would I link all the pages together so they could click on any page to get
to another page. Sorry if I am sounding stupid.
    Thanks,
    Linda
