Linking and anchor help
Hi, I'm new to using Dreamweaver MX and I'm a bit confused about why my named
anchors won't work in some cases. I posted this on the general discussion but
I didn't get an answer so perhaps it was in the wrong location.
Specifcally, I am having trouble with named anchors and links within the same
document.
When I preview a page (say Page 1) by pressing F12 and press links such as <go
to top of page> (that link within the same document) it works.
However, if I start from another page (Page 2) and then using a link go to
that first page (Page 1), and then attempt to press the <go to top of page>
button, it doesn't work.
The website isnot online yet so the links to each page are to the local site.
Could that be the problem? As the links to each page are to the dwt. documents.
I don't understand why it works for one and not for the other. Could someone
please help me. Thanks.
