Linking Text Boxes
I am trying to make a flyer in freehand and I need to link 3 text boxes
together for use in an article on the frontpage of the flyer.
Is it possible to link the boxes so text will flow freely from one to another
like in Microsoft publisher?
Thanks
Nick

Re: Linking Text Boxes
Select the first text box. Drag from the little box in lower right hand corner to the area where your second text box is located. Then from the second text box drag to the third.

Re: Linking Text Boxes
Get a multipage view where you can see all of the text blocks you want to
link. Select the first one. Click in the text overflow box below the lower
right corner of the block and drag out a "linking line" to the interior of
the second block and release the mouse button. Similarly, select the second
block and drag a line from its overflow box to the third text block.

Re: Linking Text Boxes
Thanks, I actually figured it out right after I posted but I have a couple more
questions.
Is there a way I can make bulleted lists or numbered lists in the text boxes?
Another is, would Freehand be a good program to make a 4 page flyer, it will
be front and back of a 11x17 page then folded to make it look like a booklet.
I designed one page so far and printed it out and it looks good.
Just would like some feedback.
Thanks

Sure. But depending on how it's being printed, you may have to set it up> Another is, would Freehand be a good program to make a 4 page flyer, it will

as two tabloid-landscape pages (back & front, and inside spread) instead
of four letter-portrait pages. Talk to your printers to find out whether
or not they have imposition software that can combine separate FH (or
PDF) pages into printer's pairs.

Re: Linking Text Boxes
Thanks for the Help,
I made the flyer and printed it out on 11x17 paper on my works nice
copier/printer and it looked really good, so I figure if we go ahead with the
flyer then a professional printer wont' have a problem printing it on glosser
paper.
Thanks again,
Nick
