    Default linking text from spreads

I've made a document with several master documents. One for the title pages and one for the text pages for a report. When I load a .doc into the text frames in the title document (not the master) that is page 1 of my document, it won't link the text through to page 2 of my document ( which has the text page master).

How do I make sure that the spreads are linked together, in other words, the text will flow within spreads, but not between spreads.

    any help is appreciated.
    thanks

If I'm understanding what you're trying to do (and I'm not sure I do), I think you'll need to manually thread the text frame at the bottom of page 1 (which uses the Title master) to the text frame on page 2 (Text master). Autoflow won't work between pages based on two different master pages in my testing.

As to how to how to create text flow only within a spread, just manually use the threading techniques described in InDesign help to link the text frame on the left page of a spread to that on the right page of a spread. If you used autoflow, it would flow onto the next spread, which I guess you don't want it to do.

It's a little difficult to describe, but you understood correctly.

"Autoflow won't work between pages based on two different master pages in my testing. "

I was looking for a solution for this, but apparently, this can only be done manually.
