Yep - understandable. I actually caved and moved the documents in question to
a "documents" folder off of the site root on the web server.
Because I have a link within a menu on every page that points to this doc, I
then edited the role settings in Contribute to ensure that all doc links
pointed to this one folder (rather than copying the doc into a new folder in
each directory). I don't like it and it only works at this point because there
are one or two docs in question. Now I have to remind the users that they're
not the same as the dept. share versions and must be updated differently.
Please fix this Macromedia!
