Re: Links and View Sizes
Mike, Nigel,
My problem is related. I'm trying to make the page numbers in a table of contents into links, but (of course) I want all the links to inherit the zoom the user has established. Each item in the TOC is on a new page, so I don't have the same problem you describe (the linked content not appearing at the top of the screen). But I do have a problem with Adobe's assumption that links should always default to the zoom in effect at the time the link is created! That apparently means I have to go through each of the nearly 100 links to change each one, individually, to inherit the user's zoom. And it seems I have to do the same thing if I want to make create similar bookmarks. Adobe's assumption about the default zoom seems to me idiotic -- why, when I create a link, would I want to force the user into some zoom other than the one she's already chosen?
