Links Disappear in Acrobat 6

Hi

I am having a problem with links disappearing from a PDF when I replace pages.

I am sure in the past if I replaced a page the link etc remained intact. Is there an option hidden somewhere where this function has to be turned on.

I am using Acrobat 6.01 under Mac OS 10.4.2.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you actually using the REPLACE PAGES command?

Yes. Document>Pages>Replace.

This has always worked fine in the past.

The 6.02 update might be worth addressing ...

Tried the update and also the subsequent one to 6.03.

In the end it was easier to just re-make the links as it was only an 8 page document. Still strange that I've never had this problems before.

I have the same problem with 2 documents of 142 pages each.

Problem:
- I have 2 pdf documents of 142 pages each. English & French versions!
- I made bookmarks and links for the English version. (Everything worked fine)
- Then replaced the pages in the English version with pages from the french version.
- All bookmarks and links worked when viewing from the hard disk, but when viewing from the browser in Explorer for Windows, or Netscape for OS 9.2.2, pages were missing, some pages were blank(white space), and the bookmarks went to other pages.

When trying to access the missing pages numbers I would get one of these messages:
"There was an error processing a page. Invalid Restore."
or
"There was a problem reading this document(14)."

Anyone else experience this problem? Any help would be very appreciated.
