Linux PCI Dialup Modem
Can anyone point in the direction of a cheap PCI modem that's compatible
with Linux? I just want something to dial my pager but would like it
internal.

but the machine it is going in does not even have a motherboard yet. It
does have 4 Ultra/320 SCSI hard drives, though, a 660 watt power supply,
and a lotta fans. ;-)

Or for that matter, get a cheap external modem. I've set up many
sendpage and other types of paging servers and found ancient Intel 14.4
or Zyxel 14.4 modems work incredibly well.
Most PET style paging systems want <2400 baud connections anyway.
