I have been poring over this issue for days, and getting extremely pissed - but
I finally solved the problem! This may not apply to all of you - but if it
does, you will be so happy. I have a Windows XP OS, and could see and hear
video on most sites. But with the CW and FOX, for example (who both use Adobe
Software) - I was getting flawless audio, but no video. All I could see was a
solid green screen. I got the idea to check out FOX's troubleshooter, like I
did the CW's. See, when I looked at the troubleshooter on the CW website, I
could see and hear the test video playing; so it seemed that nothing should be
wrong. I checked everything I could think of, in my system - and talked to
everybody, to try and find what the problem was. Then I updated to Internet
Explorer 7. After this, I decided to test my video on FOX's troubleshooter.
This time, I couldn't see the video. Surprised to see that same green screen
(and wondering why I was getting different results between the two sites), I
clicked on Change under the video button. Then I saw a picture. Figuring I had
nothing to lose - I went to the CW website and tried once again, to play an
episode. Guess what? I could see it. I about fell out.

I don't know how it worked, but it did. Try it, and see if it works for you.

Good luck!
