Lists in lists

Is it posible to have multiple lists make up a list?, or to make an array or matrix of strings? I am making a tetris style game and I need to know where blocks are and what kind they are over a 12x6 area. I gave it a quick look and I don't see anything about arrays or matrixes. There's an easy workaround but it's not very scalable. Any help would be appreciated

well, it's easy as...lists :o)

listA = [11,21,31]
listB = ["AA","BB","CC"]
ListList =[listA, listB]

put ListList[1][2]
-- 21
put ListList[2][3]
-- "CC"

you can also look to propertyLists

Or even...

listA = [1,2,3,4]
listB = []
add listB,listA
add listB,2
add listB,3

put list B
listB = [[1,2,3,4],2,3,]

lists inside lists....
