I just insalled php4.3.2 on my windows xp windows... everything works ok,
but when i try to do:

test.php
-----------
<?php
print("-->$send<--");
?>
-----------
call --> test.php?send=gimmesomething

my explorer just gives me this:
--><-- insted of -->gimmesomething<--
