Live Streams
Do anyone have an idea of the optimum number of live streams Flash Media
Server can handle comfortably? The server we are using 3Ghz pentium, 1 gig of
Ram and uses windows 2003 server.
I know it says maximum 5000 users, I guess its all down to bandwidth but how
realistic is that?
Sorry, pretty new to this and just seeing if its worthwhile using.
Thanks

Re: Live Streams
That depends.
What will the bitrate of the streams be? Are we talking little 160x120 20kbps
images, or big, high quality images?
I've had upwards of concurrent 500 low bitrate streams on a single processor
machine, but higher bitrate stream cuts capacity drastically.

Re: Live Streams
Thanks for the reply JayCharles
Yeah, we are looking to use a bitrate of around 20-30kps.
