llustrator 10 - selection tool problems (attributes ??? )
I am having problems with the selection tool in my Illustrator 10. It
used to
show a frame around the objects selected, with hollow boxes at the
corners, as well in the middle of the box surrounding the selected
object(s).
Suddenly, a few days ago, it started marking only endpoints of
selected objects
with solid boxes. And it is no longer possible to scale objects with
this tool,
they can only be dragged.
I am sure it is some attribute that has been altered, but I can just
not find it. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but that did not
help change the way the tool work.
Any ideas / suggestions?
Grateful for assistance

In order to scale shape or text boxes you must double check your bounding box setting under view.
1. Select View
2. Select Show Bounding Box
3. Notice you are now able to select the white nodes and thus scale the boxesUnregistered Guest
