Load Additional Job Options
We are considering upgrading to Acrobat 7, but we have a few question before we commit to spend a couple of thousand dollars on this software. Apparently Adobe doesn't really care about customer servive since I cannot find a way to ask these questions straight to them. Anyway, we are a catalog company and we need
1. Ability to load other companies' job options.
2. Confirm that Acrobat 7 Professional is press optomized.
If 7 does not have this functionality, which version other than 4 can we use on Mac OS 9.2 and Mac OS X
Thanks in advance.

You mean for Distiller? Distiller's .joboptions files can be moved to
other computers, just as with previous releases. Personally, I'd
recommend only moving between the same release, but many seem to
ignore that.
What exactly do you mean by that? You also seem to be comparing with>2. Confirm that Acrobat 7 Professional is press optomized.
Acrobat 4, what feature of Acrobat 4 do you mean, specifically?

Yes, I mean the distiller.
What exactly do you mean by that?
Like I said, we are a catalog company so many of our files (our catalog) that are sent to press (a printing company) are in PDF format. If these files are not press optimized, the quality of the print (catalog) is poor.
In our version 4 we have stock options (print, screen and press) This is what I am referring when I say press optomized.
Or in 7 can we make our own job option.
Thanks for your quick reply.

Re: Load Additional Job Options
7 comes with a press joboption. In 7, like in 4, you can also create
your own job options.
