local files
My client upgraded their hosting plan today and discovered their web host
provider had wiped out their entire site. Restore from backups are promised but
they say the files may be two weeks old. My client uses Contribute to modify
the site content. I'm not a Contribute user but wondered if the product caches
the modified files locally and if they could be re-published to the server.
Thanks for any input on this recovery !

Re: local files
itinko,
Yes there are files cached on the local machine that you could move over to
the server but you will only find the associated files that were needed when
editing a specific file. So things like GIF, CSS and includes would be what you
could find in the Sites directory on your local machine.

Re: local files
Thanks for your reply John. Are you saying that only the associated assets would be in the Sites folder, or that those assets AND modified html files would be found there?
Thanks again.
