Locate Acrobat 9 Distiller?

I'm trying to make a PDF through InDesign through the print menu, however, it gives me a dialogue box for "Please locate Adobe Acrobat Distiller" and I can't find it anywhere. I can find the program, but I can't select it. I'm trying to resize files to fit on 8.5x11 sheets, which is why I'm not using Export. Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this?

I don't have that problem finding Distiller? Can you use the Adobe PDF printer in another application like TextEdit? If so, which versions of InDesign and Acrobat are you using?

No, I can't use the PDF printer in any application. And I'm using Acrobat 9.

Run "Repair Acrobat Installation" under the help menu and try again.

TRy the following Go to Printer Utilities and remove instances of PDF Printer. then quit Now use find file or ite replacement and locate all versions of PDF Printer to Trash,

Now, open Acrobat or Reader 9 and go to help repair and replace. Now uncheck PDFMaker and check Pdf Printer and click okay.

always use the newsest version of PDF Printer. all older versions 6,7,8

can use 9 Print Driver although some new features will not be used.

But 9 can not use any previous version.

Now see if you can set up and use, in Page setup when you in a document you want to make into a PDF.

Also while at if your trying to use the PDFMaker item in Office2008 forget it they have ripped the heart and soul of VBA out of Office2008. They didn't realize how many folks even from Colleges and Universities use Solver and and Macros. If your still using 2004 PDFMaker still works.

Still didn't work...still getting the locate Distiller message.
