Locket size photo
Hey all,
I need to print a locket (probably 1/2" x 3/4" oval) sized picture from a 4 x 6 scanned photo. The part of the picture I need is actually just the head and shoulders of the subject. What's the best way for me to do this? What settings should I use to scan with (Epson 1650 Photo scanner) and how should I resize the picture after I crop it in PSE (I'm going to do an oval crop).
Boy, it's been so long since I've used PSE 2 that I can't remember where to start! :-)
Thanks.

Re: Locket size photo
If the area of the picture you want to use is already *same or larger
physical size* than the final size for the locket, just scan approximate
area of pic (or whole thing if you want) at 300ppi. Then crop and
resize/downsample to exact size you need at 300ppi and print.
