Default locking regions

We have roughly 500 existing pages on out intranet and considering using
Contribute to edit text, etc.

All pages were originally created in Dreamweaver.

How can i stop users, editing width of tables, etc and leaving them to only
add/edit/delete links/text.

we go by very strict guidlines so have to nmake sure certain elements are not
altered. I know publication ccan go via a publisher but stopping them editing
it, would save time.

Default Re: locking regions

If you built the site in Dreamweaver use templates. Users can then only edit areas you have marked as editiable.

Default locking regions

Hi im a complete newbie to contribute but I am an experienced website designer.
I have a site that im trying to edit with contribute that I designed in FW and
DW. There are 2 main cells which contribute is allowing me to edit, one has the
text ( which needs editing ) and the other has a form. When I click edit in
contribute it clears all of the text AND the form and I dont want it to do
that. I need the client to be able to edit the text but the form needs to
remain as it is.

Ive read something about editable regions but thought id just ask someone who
already knows, the site is www.astrum-ip.com

Thanks for your help!
