i would like to have a "log in form" to my site. am using dream weaver 8. i've
been trying to learn to do it manually, creating tables and database.... but it
    seems too complicated to me.

i understand there's a extension toolbox in dream weaver cs3. is there an down
loadable extension for dream weaver 8?

    Default Re: log in form?

The developer toolbox in CS3 is basically the former Interakt Kollection
rebranded now that they are owned by Adobe. It's overkill for what you
    want.

Dreamweaver comes with the extensions to make a login .. but you will need a
database table and if you're going to do any dynamic development, you won't
go far without needing that anyway .. whether or not you purchased the
    developer toolbox or another extension.

Dreamweaver also has tutorials on the DevNet site for getting started with
this .. once you create a database and login table, the User Authentication
server behaviors in DW will do what you want.
