Login user issue - help!
Hi - using ASP/Access/Vbscript.
Working on a system where users can rate products in a webshop in the
following steps;
1. User browse to a product detail page in the shop (productID=3 example...)
2. User click on the "rate product" link - and is transfered to a login page.
3. User enter usern/paswd and log in (MM_Username) - verified against the
customer database - and enters the product rating page.
Need to pass the ProductID= "" from page 1 to 3 to make sure the correct
product is rated. Have tried to set a session variable but I think that the
log in MM_Username kill all sessions - IS this correct?
Suggestions on how to do this?
Bjorn.

Re: Login user issue - help!
on the first page the customer clicks on the link so you can pass it in the url
as a querystring..on the login page read the querystring and assign the value
to a hidden form field and on the last page you can just retreive it from the
form. thats one way of going about it anyways
