lombard screen and other problems, sniff
my lombard has a bad screen, showing only vertical lines. it looks
nice but alas! external monitor works fine though. i think this might
be a common problem and i hope to be able to repair it cheap???
here is a photo of it:

another problem is the battery, which does not work anymore, there is
only one led blinking when the button is pressed and it does not
charge...
and (sniff) the l2 cache seems to be dead, it is disabled on start up.
any easy solution here? by the way, in mac os 9 opengl seems to be
very slow and most open gl games show only a black screen. how can i
verify that the graphics card works fine? perhaps it is missing the l2
cache (rave works fine!)...
hope for some solutions,
thanks a lot in advance,
hubertus
