Looking for a style ...
I was wondering if anyone knew of any styles that would resemble an old book
page, such as a monastery parchment with yellowed pages and edging, or an
aged scroll with browned or burnt edges, etc. I've created several already
but I am curious to see if anyone else has made something similar.
Thanks ~

Re: Looking for a style ...
In Fireworks, you can assign "styles" to different objects. A style would
be a combination of textures, colors, effects, fills, and so forth. You can
play around with all these things to get the effect you want, and then you
can save it as a style so that you can easily apply it to an object in the
future. Sometimes designers upload their styles to the web to share with
other designers - and I was asking if anyone had created a style that, when
applied to say, a rectangle, would look like the texture of an old piece of
parchment or a book page or the like. Just out of curiosity, and because I
like to find unique styles that others have created.

Re: Looking for a style ...
Richie,
Just so you know, the styles listed in your index don't seem to be
recognized as valid file formats. All I see is a ? icon and the files
are just binary ga-ga. :)
