looking for macintosh antivirus freeware - Mac Applications & Software

Hi, Does anybody know about antivirus freeware for macintosh? I would like to install antivirus software but don't feel like paying for it. For microsoft you got, for example, grisoft antivirus freeware. Is there something like it for Apple? Any help greatly appreciated, Martijn...

    Default looking for macintosh antivirus freeware

    Hi,

    Does anybody know about antivirus freeware for macintosh? I would like
    to install antivirus software but don't feel like paying for it. For
    microsoft you got, for example, grisoft antivirus freeware. Is there

    software IMHO. You're paying for is the updates to the known viruses
    (virii?) on a regular basis.

    If you find a free virus scanning package, go head and use it. I wonder
    how long it will be before the maintainer abandons it or starts charging
    for updates.

    Anyone who barebacks because they don't want to buy condoms deserves
    what they contract...
