Looking for WebAssist assistance
Does anyone know of any good help/how to resources for Web Assist products? Mostly DataAassist suite.
The website forums don't seem to be used much.
Thanks

Re: Looking for WebAssist assistance
I have used their extensions for years. They are second only to InterAKT for
value. I, too, found limited resources. They were awesome for personal
support a few years ago. They then switched from free support to 3 instances
with each purchase. Once they did that their support dropped off a bit.
However, I still found great success getting support through them. That and
alot of experimenting helped me alot.
I'd help but I haven't used DataAssist. I mostly use their store extensions.

We do have people that respond to posts in our support forum, so please feel free to start a thread in an appropriate forum:> Does anyone know of any good help/how to resources for Web Assist products? Mostly DataAassist suite.

You can find help for DataAssist here by clicking the Support header in the product description:
http://www.webassist.com/professional/products/productdetails.asp?PID=117
For other products visit their detail page and click Support.
In the "Buy now" pod, there are several links that are generally present for each product that may be of use: Feature Tour, Solution Recipe. There is also a "Web Development: before you begin" item, but you probably don't need that if you're already have a development web server and databases already up and running. Here's a list of all of our solution recipes linked to from our home page (two are listed related to DataAssist: DataAssist 2.0 and DataAssist Search):
http://www.webassist.com/professional/products/solutionrecipes.asp
Again on the WebAssist home page there is a link for support ( linked to http://www.webassist.com/professional/support/ ) which lists an email address ( sales@webassist.com ) where you can send any pre-sales questions you may have.
To respond to Mystifier's comment about WebAssist support: For support incidents, in the past we used to have X support incidents per product (where X was based upon product price, more $ more incidents) and last year we moved to free support. So product support is free for owners of a product.
