Losing my option key / space bar function in AI 10
This is enough to drive you nuts. For some reason I cannot use my option key to drag/copy; my shift key to constrain; or my space bar to get the Hand tool. The cursor will change to the Hand tool for a moment, but it won't stay long enough to allow me to move around the screen.
I have done everything I can think of, from re installing AI to restoring my OS (9.2.2). I have rebuilt my desktop and zapped my PRAM.
Any ideas? I have read that this can happen in OS X, but since I am slow out of the starting gates I am still on OS 9.2.2.
