losing object properties when...

    Default losing object properties when...

    i lose the capability to change an object's width and height in the properties tab after using the extrude tool on it. the properties tab then just changes to extrude properties for the object.

    any way around this? thanks-

    If you want to edit the size of the entire extrusion, group it first.

    If the original object was a group before you applied the extrusion, you can
    Subselect it and edit width and height. This only works before you've
    applied a rotation.

    If you've already applied a rotation, you could remove rotation with Modify
    > Extrude > Reset Extrude. That would allow you to reset width and height of
    the original object in the Properties panel. You'd have to reapply the
    rotation.
