    Default Lost Page During Publish

We just had a situation where a page disappeared after it was published to the
server. The situation around the event is:

Our Web server went offline as one of my Contribute users was trying to
    publish.
When I tried to publish the doc, I'd receive a message telling me that the
lock was removed from the file and I could not publish; to go to Actions >
Publish > Publish as new Page. I did this but neither the new file that I
created or the original appears in the drafts console or anywhere on the Web
    server.

Is there somewhere else I can look to pull up a temp.

Default Re: Lost Page During Publish

You can try a few things

    1. Try adding a .lck file for the page you are trying to upload, make sure
that the .lck is for the user that originally (Created the file) then see if
you can publish it from the users computer.

    2. If it was a new page you might want to check the users comptuer for the
file. They are usuall stored in
    C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application
    Data\Macromedia\Contribute 3\Sites

Make sure you replace USER with the userename that the person uses to log on
    to there computer

    3. Check to see if it is in the file is located on the servers MMWIP Folder.
