Lost webpage edits

:sad; I just lost four hours worth of editing. Every 15 minutes I published
changes to the web. Each time I was rewarded with the "Congratulations!"
message. NOW.... all those edits are gone. What happened to them???

With Safari "View Source" the following text appears to be added to my online
file. Does this indicate file corruption? If so, is there a way to restore
the original edits?
