When I export with 3d max studio 6 to format ?W3D? and I concern in Director the lights do not work,

There's an option in the max exporter which allows you to choose whether
lights are exported. Make sure it's selected.
If that doesn't solve it, can you post the w3d file up somewhere so we can
take a look at it?
