Mac OS X EMail SMTP Setting - Mac Applications & Software

Hey guys, I have a Mac OS X and use the Email program that came with the computer. I recently moved from Florida and removed my old Pop account from the settings and added my new providers email settings. Well, when you go into Mail > Preferences > Then click on Edit the spot that says "Outgoing Mail Server" shows my new providers info like it should. Default Mac OS X EMail SMTP Setting

    Hey guys,

I have a Mac OS X and use the Email program that came with the
computer. I recently moved from Florida and removed my old Pop account
from the settings and added my new providers email settings. Well,
when you go into Mail > Preferences > Then click on Edit the spot that
says "Outgoing Mail Server" shows my new providers info like it
should. But if you pull down on that box it also shows my past SMTP
setting. You can click it Add an SMTP but you can't delete it. How can
I get rid of the old SMTP setting so that only the one from my new
    provider shows up?

    The Scripts Menu
    <http://www.apple.com/applescript/script_menu/index.html> contains a
script for managing the list of SMTP servers.

If you don't feel liek editing xml files by hand, run the applescript:

    /Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts/Manage SMTP\ Servers.scpt
