    Default Mac OS X on upgraded 8600 PCI Mac?

    Hello all,
    Does anybody have experience with installing Maxc OS X on an older
    upgraded PCI Mac using the Sonnet PCI X installer?
    <http://www.sonnettech.com/downloads/osx_upgrade_sw.html>

    What limitations will such an install have besides the lack of speed?
    What about my adb mouse and other peripherals for instance?

    Is such an install worth the trouble? Any and all information is
    appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Steven

    Thanks, Matti, sounds like it is worth the efford. How is performance as
    compared to plain Mac OS 9.1?

    I have a Newertech MAXpowr 400 MHz G3 processor upgrade, a Formac
    ProFormance 3 Graphics Accelerator and a Adaptec 2940U2B SCSI Card. If
    anybody knows of problems with these in combination with MacOS X upgrade
    I'd be pleased to hear it.
