Mac OS X/PE: Scanner import, Canon LiDE 30 does not show up
From File/Import in photshop elements OS X, I should see my canon LiDE 30 scanner - but it doesn't show up. Likewise from the welcome screen. I don't know whether this has anything to do with the scanner being usb powered. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks so much for the suggestion! All I actually needed to do was reinstall the driver (the canon driver installlation s/w apparently automatically searches for where drivers should be installed) as I installed the PE software some months after I installed the scanner software and drivers - that's why the driver/plug-in wasn't in PE.
